What are the drawbacks of sublimation printing?
Sublimation items require a white or light-colored print area. Black or dark colored surfaces cannot be sublimated. Permanent exposure to direct sunlight can cause discoloration in a few months due to the effects of UV light. As with all inkjet printers, printheads can become clogged if not used frequently.
How does DTF printing feel?
DTF printers produce the softest feel of any transfer technology. It doesn't feel "plastic" at all. But you can still say it's there. DTG prints, especially on lightweight garments without white ink, feel like a shirt.
